PASS offers pathways to educational opportunities with scholarship support to help students succeed.

ABOUT PASS

The Pennsylvania Award for Student Success (PASS) Program seeks to furnish scholarships of up to $15,000 for students hailing from low-income households situated within the lowest 15% of schools based on statewide performance evaluations.

Under this initiative, scholarships are awarded to eligible students spanning from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Fighting for Equity

The program delineates varying scholarship amounts, including $2,500 for half-day kindergarten students, $5,000 for those in kindergarten through 8th grade, $10,000 for 9th through 12th graders, and $15,000 for students with special needs.

Eligibility is dependent on household income not surpassing 250% of the federal poverty level, which currently stands at $75,000 for a family of four.

Continued enrollment in failing schools amounts to both a policy and moral lapse. PASS provides additional educational options with scholarship support.
